Merck offers a very wide range of specialty chemicals for technologically sophisticated applications. In Indonesia, Chemicals Division of PT Merck Tbk has two departments, Performance Material and Merck Millipore.

Performance Material Department provides a wide range of products in pigment, including for cosmetics. This Department is the global market leader in liquid crystal that applied for displays used in televisions, PCs and consumer electronics.

Merck Millipore Department provides products to be applied in Bioscience, Lab Solutions and Process Solutions. This Department supplies protein research assays and reagents, cell culture solutions and drug discovery services for biopharmaceutical companies as well as laboratory chemicals for research, analytical and hospital laboratories.
