All Merck employees remain safe after two bombs exploded at JW Marriot and Ritz Carlton Hotels in Jakarta at around 07.55 am local time. Local media reported that the first bomb went off at JW Marriot and the second at the Ritz Carlton. The Police Department has confirmed that 9 people died and 50 were injured.

Our deepest condolences for the victims and their families. Our thoughts and prays are with them.
